Delete Your Unscrol Account
Last updated: 2026-10-15
This page explains how to delete your Unscrol account and the data linked to it. Unscrol is published by Mirrket. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Unscrol and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings list and tap Delete Account.
- Read the warning and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away, and the app signs you out and clears everything stored on your device.
No access to the app?
If you can no longer open the app (for example, you uninstalled it or lost your device), email [email protected] with the subject Delete my account. Send the email from the address linked to your Unscrol account, so we can verify it is you. We will delete your account and reply once it is done.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove from our active systems:
- Your account profile (email address, display name, hashed PIN, settings)
- Check-ins and mood entries
- Urge tracking entries
- Focus and sanctuary sessions
- Challenges you joined, and your streaks, milestones, and progress
- Your leaderboard entries and community activity
- Referral records you created or redeemed
On Android, the app also clears its on-device data, including your blocking selections, and stops blocking. On iPhone, remove your blocked apps in Unscrol before deleting your account, or uninstall the app.
What we keep, and for how long
- Backups: deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days, after which it is permanently erased.
- Purchase records: purchases are handled by Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat, not by us. They keep transaction records as required by tax and financial law, under their own policies. We never hold your payment details.
- Messages and third-party records: messages you sent through the contact form, and analytics, crash-report and subscription records held by Mixpanel, Firebase, Sentry, RevenueCat, and Meta, are not deleted automatically. Email [email protected] to request their deletion.
- Legal requirements: we may keep limited information if the law requires it or to resolve a dispute.
Subscriptions are not canceled automatically when you delete your account. Cancel yours in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings, otherwise billing continues.
For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
